Tickets for Summer 2026
There are some changes in the ticket
policy for Chappel Summer 2026, which should give some
flexibility.
Following the trial on Tuesday last year, we will be allowing
pay on the door for Tuesday and Wednesday ONLY. The availability of
tickets sold on the door is dependent on total overall sales, and if we exceed
the maximum numbers on site we will have to close the door
to non-ticket holders. If travelling to the beer festival it is
highly recommended you pre-buy tickets online to guarantee you can get
in. Online tickets are cheaper as well. Please
remember that Thursday, Friday and Saturday are
admission for pre-bought tickets only.
Another change is that on quieter days we will only have one
session per day. A ticket bought for that day is valid for entry from 11:00am
until we close that evening. This applies on Tuesday. Wednesday and Saturday.
Thursday and Friday are still expected to be busy, and
we need to control the maximum numbers on site throughout the day those days,
so purchase of a ticket online is compulsory. If you buy a ticket for the
earlier session, then it is valid for admission until 16:30, but so long as you
enter before that time you stay as long as you like until the festival closes
that evening. If coming to enter after 16:30 you will need to buy an evening
ticket.
What your ticket gets you: -
The ticket gets you admission to the festival, plus a starter
pack of £10 worth of beer tokens and a glass. If you need further beer tokens,
they can be purchased onsite, and if you have any unused
when you leave, you have a choice of refund or donation to the museum charity.
The glass is yours to keep, but we understand that many
people do have too many festival glasses at home and do not want anymore, so if
you bring a previous Chappel Beer Festival Glass with you, will use that glass
instead of a new one and do not require a new one, then we will issue you with
a extra £3 of beer tokens instead of the glass. This is valid for one glass per
person per visit.

Ticket Prices
Adult Admission £22.00 online. Buy on the door Tues and Weds, £24.00.
Persons under 18 do not require a ticket and get free
admission, but anybody under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult, minimum age 30 who
does have ticket. Please note we will not serve alcohol to anybody under 18, or if we suspect it is being purchased
for consumption by anyone under 18.
Member Discount. £14.00 online. Buy on the door Tues and Weds, £16.00
A valid membership card for CAMRA or
East Anglian Railway Museum must be shown on
admission. Discount available to member only and not for family and friends.

We no appreciate the beer festival
does at time cause some over crowding on the Sudbury branch
trains and to give some recompense to regular users of
these train we offer this discount. To make this discount valid a current Season
ticket or Greater Anglia Smart Card to/from Sudbury, Bures or Chappel &
Wakes Colne must be shown on admission.

discount to local residents. This is available If you
